Description
This bill made the teaching of the United States and Ohio Constitutions mandatory in public schools. House Bill 141 was the first bill introduced by an Ohio woman legislator that was enacted into law. Rep. Nettie Clapp sponsored the bill, and it passed in the Ohio House on March 8, 1923.
